We have had a busy summer of events, and would like to thank you for all of your help and support at the Treasure Hunt, History Exhibition and the Cheese and Wine Quiz. The next event, our Cadw Open Doors weekend, is not a fund-raiser, but a chance to open up the church and to talk about St Madoc and the history of the church.
It it the fourth time we have been able to participate in Cadw’s Open Doors programme, and this year we are also keen to point out some of the architecture of the church. There will be Celtic and medieval music during the day (from the fabulous Greenala) and hope to have story-telling at around 12:30 on both Saturday and Sunday.
We will also have a nature walk through Haroldston Woods to the church, leaving at 11:00 from outside the YHA in Broad Haven car-park (wear boots or stout shoes). There will also be a walk back from the church at around 13:00 via a local 14th century farmhouse.
Do come and see us if you can.
